This page takes you through the key steps for selecting and onboarding your BE Ambassadors, from supporting students to apply and reviewing applications, through to welcoming your final group and making sure everything is in place for them to begin the programme.

We want all students in the year group to feel confident in applying for the Ambassador Programme. To support this happening post-Launch Day, please:
Make sure students know how to apply using the online application form or paper application form
Share a copy of any paper applications with your co-facilitator to mark
Consider running an application session during school time. You can use our application session slides, teacher guide and session plan
Keep promoting the opportunity around school using the post Launch Day posters

It’s important to consider and review all applications and make sure they are marked fairly. Please work with your co-facilitator to carve out time to:

Mark all applications on the Hive. You can refer to the application marking video and Teacher Portal overview video to support you with marking and navigating the Hive
Arrange a time with your co-facilitator to compare your individual markings and agree on the final 30 Ambassadors
Hold an Introduction Session for the Selected Ambassadors (Teachers)

Once your 30 Ambassadors have been selected, please hold a short introduction session so they understand what they’ve joined and what happens next. Please make sure you:
Share the time and location of their weekly workshops
Hand out the Parent/Guardian consent flyers from your resource pack
Give each student their 2026 Ambassador Badge
Play the Community Video
Leave some time for questions
