Please:
Follow your school's consent process for taking young people off-site
Encourage Bertha Earth guardian consent to be completed before the Nature Connect Day

Nature Connect Days involve spending time outdoors, so appropriate clothing and footwear are important for helping Ambassadors stay comfortable and enjoy the experience.
Please:
Check the weather forecast and any information about the planned activities
Let Ambassadors know what clothing and footwear they will need
Encourage warm layers and sturdy footwear where appropriate
Make sure Ambassadors arrive prepared for the weather on the day
Action for: Bertha Earth Facilitator, School-Based Facilitator
Nature Connect Days are a great opportunity to capture moments that help tell the story of Ambassadors' experiences and celebrate the programme later in the year.
Where consent allows, please try to capture a mixture of photos and short videos that show:
The setting and wider environment
Ambassadors taking part in activities
Smaller details such as hands, tools, notebooks or things being created
Please always check media consent before capturing identifiable young people.
